Junk Removal in Montevallo, AL
Montevallo's one free dump day a year is a county program — and the rest of the year, bulk disposal is on you.
Montevallo contracts curbside garbage collection to Republic Services, once a week, with cans out the night before the service day. The city also runs a recycling center on Overland Road.
For anything larger, the main municipal option is an annual one: Montevallo participates in Shelby County's free landfill day, when residents can bring material to the recycling center during a set window on a single Saturday.

One Saturday a year
A free county dump day is a real benefit, and worth using if your timing lines up with it. Most disposal problems don't:
- A water heater fails in October and the next free day is in spring
- A tenant leaves a unit full of furniture between leases
- A renovation generates debris over three weeks, not one morning
- The load is more than you can move yourself in a single window
The free day also requires you to get everything to the recycling center under your own power, which is the part that stops most people.
We're the option that doesn't depend on the calendar. One call, whenever the problem actually happens, and we do the loading. Montevallo sits an easy run down from Birmingham, and the jobs we come for are cleanouts, estate clearings, student-rental turnovers, and renovation debris.
